Digital Transition

Rocky Mountain PBS is helping make sure your choices are clear The transition to digital television is coming and Rocky Mountain PBS is working to make sure that everyone who gets their TV signal free and over-the-air, is ready by February 17, 2009.

If you have a cable or satellite television subscription, you don't have to do anything. But if you receive your TV signal with rabbit ears, you will need to make some quick and easy changes.

Use rabbit ears on an analog TV

Have cable or satellite TV

Have digital TV using antenna

No need to act

If you use rabbit ears on an older TV, you will need to order a converter box coupon from the government. Once your coupon arrives, you can use the $40 value to purchase a converter box at any participating retailer.

Finally, your old antenna may continue working but you may also need to upgrade to a directional antenna. We recommend that you visit antennaweb.org to find out what your likely solution will be.

We're excited about the digital future at Rocky Mountain PBS. And we're here to make sure your choices are clear.
